Be fruitful and multiply! Colors of Glory๐Ÿ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ’๐Ÿชป๐Ÿฅ€๐ŸŒบ

 ๐ŸŒฑ Second Half Musings.

Happy July...Be fruitful and multiply!

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion...” Genesis 1:28 KJV

God blessed man with His Word. The Word is the Truth. However, man needs to be guided into the truth, to live the truth. That is why the Holy Spirit is given to His own— not just to give direction, but to guide us step by step into living the Word victoriously.

This happens through disciplined prayer, studying, and fellowship in worship with the Word — not out of duty, but out of love for God and to seek understanding — because understanding gives us access to hear the Spirit’s voice.

Over the years, as I learned the personality of the Holy Spirit, He taught me to grow in loving Him, myself, and in extending that same quality of love to others. Hmm... I'm still a work in progress o ๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

I deal with emotional instability by intentionally meditating on Scripture — singing and dancing to Scripture and songs ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿพ — and by creating a life and a haven in my space with my words and responsible actions. Not by might, but I thank God for Grace! Grace!

The woman is the thermometer of the household. If she’s cheerful, regardless of how bad the situation is, other family members take their cue from her. And if she’s often emotionally unstable, no matter how good the situation is, the atmosphere in the home mirrors her instability. I stumbled on this secret in my place of study.

He also taught me how to creatively use the presence of fresh flowers to make the atmosphere of my home peaceful and beautiful.

In fact, by simply observing nature’s color combinations on plants, especially, I have learned color combinations for fashion trends — and even for my personal wardrobe.

Thus, I have grown to love and love plants...๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’™

To be specific, I love flowery plants for their colorful personalities. ๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿฅ€๐Ÿชป๐Ÿชด๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ

I truly cherish spending quality time with my plants… nickname: “Plantinos”.

Also, I increased in knowledge of plants through a beautiful sister of mine who has green hands and can nurture them to fruition.

From plants, flowers bloom, and from flowers, colors fly ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›

Key Lessons from My Nature's Bouquet ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒฟ

1. If you want to add some color to your life, then check what you are planting daily in your mind, your thoughts, and your relationship with God and man.

I make it a daily routine to lovingly check on my plants and find out their needs... Of course, I do my best to care for them... hmm... prayers too ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. My plants are responsive.

Some people choose not to respond to God’s love. Some believers, schooled by pain, tend to be overly possessive, withdrawn, and self-centered because they see everything and everyone through pain.

Always remember the Scripture: “The earth is filled with His goodness.” — Psalm 33:5

All the evil in this world can never outweigh the goodness of God... So, be humble enough to receive healing from God and from those He sends to you.

When you set your face to cultivate beauty, colors will show up more often.

For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.” Isaiah 50:7

2. Flowers don’t show up every morning. But on those days, I observe buds that are preparing to open the next day or days.

If you can’t see flowers in any area of your life today, don’t complain or sulk. You need to check the lenses you are seeing through; Pain or God's Word.

If you keep planting and following through with God’s plan, not breaking away but standing firm for the price of your call, you will see results.

Meditate on Scripture in your heart and mind. Expand your knowledge base by reading good books. Exercise your body, soul, and mind constructively.

If you keep sowing the right seeds in good soil... there are flowers in the making. Wait for the harvest.

Keep showing up on time where you are commanded, and water your seeds to fruition.

Results may come in installments, not all at once... but whichever way God does it, be grateful ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

And yes, your patience will be tested. Don’t get weary doing good — your reward is coming

Testimonies are waiting to be revealed.

Thank God for them. That’s faith!

This is Ruellia simplex, commonly called Mexican Petunia or Bluebell.

The photo reveals;

Colors- Brilliant white and that vivid violet-purple with darker veining inside the trumpet shape.

- Leaves-Long, slender, lance-shaped green leaves on woody stems.

- Habit- It blooms one flower at a time along the stem, but keeps producing new buds — just like Lesson 2 “flowers in the making.”

Mexican Petunia is a tough one. It loves Nigerian weather, handles rain well, and blooms even in containers on a balcony like mine. But it spreads like grass. What a beautiful troublemaker! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’–

3. No flower opens without undergoing a process. Just like a flower beautifies, every pain God permits in righteousness is for His purpose: to showcase His beauty and ultimately for His glory.

Stop comparing your pain with others. Respect people’s space — everyone is fighting battles you know nothing about.

Keep a record of testimonies. They give you a pattern of God’s workings. Pain is most intense just before delivery.

Even plants respond to soft touch and positive words...

Lavish yourself with faith-filled words. It can’t be too much.

This is Mother-in-law’s Tongue / Sansevieria plant* ๐ŸŒฟ

The plant flowers when conditions look “wasteland” — God makes a way for beauty where no one expects it. ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜

4. Every life has potential to grow and nurture flowers.

Everyone created by God is good.* _“And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good.”_ Genesis 1:31

But goodness must be sustained, cultivated as a life and lifestyle, and groomed into fruition. Or else it dies at the seedling stage.

This is what Satan did in the Garden of Eden. But thanks be to the Lord Jesus, who redeemed and restored life — the good in man — back.

There is no goodness in man apart from God. Only God in man is the good in man. _“Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.”_ Mark 10:18

The life of God is the power that causes the good in a regenerated life to blossom.

5. The foundation, the soil upon which you sow, is vital.

The foundation of your family, your marriage, career, relationships, business, finances... matters.

If things appear so difficult to heal, check the foundation first.

6. Fruitfulness requires you to directly seek God’s mercy to know what, how, where, and when to plant. Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,, self-control; the fruit of the Spirit blooms from being before doing.

The quality of your intimacy with the Holy Spirit yields results in your attitude and behavior towards God Himself and then people. It ultimately shows up in your faithfulness to God and His leadership and His assignment .

Plant good deeds. Be intentional!

Your direct effort is required. Do the needed task, then expect results as you continue to live joyfully.

Train yourself to patiently listen to understand others as much as you can. Learn to make heartfelt sacrifices first to the Lord and to the people you are sent to. Remember, you are not El Shaddai...

Much more, don't delay the good in your heart to do for someone.

7. Multiplication of flowers comes from pollinators.

It is a direct function of butterflies coming to the flowers. Butterflies are carriers of pollen, and they feed on nectar inside the flower.

I woke up one rainy morning to find this colorful creature on our railing close to my flowering plants:

A longhorn beetle from the family Cerambycidae. I was fascinated by the colors. I did some urgent research and found out that, based on the metallic green + coppery-orange stripes and those very long antennae, it looks a lot like Sternotomis pulchra— commonly called the :Variegated Longhorn Beetle or African Jewel Longhorn.

They’re harmless to people, found across West and Central Africa.

Butterflies aren’t the only helpers. Even jewel-toned beetles show up when flowers are open. Keep your flowers blooming — you never know which helper God will send.๐ŸŒŸ✨๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’ฅ

The nectar is the sweetness in your attitude — that trait in you that makes you unique in appearance and character. This is what attracts butterflies, your helpers.

Don’t let pain steal your sweetness. Stop blaming others for where you are in life.

When butterflies see your flowers opened, they come. Many in life have closed up themselves, by being grumpy, grouchy, hateful, and envious... such attitudes repel butterflies, your helpers.

Many think helpers only deliver material and financial blessings. But your pastor, or even just someone sent to deliver a Word, vision, or message to correct, instruct, or teach you, is also a Helper!

Open up. Unfold like a flower. Let your heart be lit up with gratitude and joy.

I remember an experience many years ago. A shop owner sent a gift, a loaf of sliced bread through my son to me. As soon as I received it, I went straight to her shop to say thank you. As I expressed my gratitude, the woman exclaimed, “Oh, I wanted to add butter! Please take this big butter…” I was astonished at what gratitude did. It buttered my bread!

Butterflies are humans sent to butter your bread. They are men and women assigned to add to your nectar, your sweetness.

Note: Do butterflies actually carry pollen? Yes.

Butterflies aren’t as fuzzy as bees, so they carry less pollen. But as they move from flower to flower for nectar, pollen sticks to their legs and bodies and gets transferred.

Bees are intentional pollinators. Butterflies are incidental pollinators — they fly farther, visit more flowers, and spread life to new places.

So your “butterfly helpers” may not look like the busiest ones, but they carry your blessing to places you can’t reach yourself.

Beloved ๐Ÿ˜, remember: Though nature speaks of His glory, you don't become God's own by observing nature. You become God's own when you believe, receive and confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God.  — through His Word, spoken or written.

If you’ve been following Jesus from a distance, decide now to fully consecrate your life to the Lord!

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.” — Colossians 1:16_*

Psalm 104:24

"O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all; the earth is full of Your possessions.”

God is our all-sufficiency and His name differs according to what we need at a specific time. Father, Creator, Sustainer, Healer, Provider- thank you for being my All in All, Jesus. How about you?

Here's my heartfelt scripture praying grace for your journey with Christ;

2 Corinthians 9:8.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”

So now, turn around, dust your feet, and speak out loud:๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿพ‍๐Ÿฉฐ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿพ

“I am God’s flower, and it is my time to be fruitful and multiply as I do what God tells me to do, go where He tells me to go, and see what He expects me to see each day.”

See and count your blessings ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿฅ€๐Ÿชป๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿชด๐Ÿ’ฎ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿชท๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ’

Give Your Threat a Treat.

Give Your Threat a Treat.  "Don’t let the floods overwhelm me, or the ocean swallow me. Save me from the pit that threatens. O Jehovah, answer my prayers, for Your lovingkindness is wonderful; Your mercy is so plentiful, so tender and so kind. Don’t hide from me, for I am in deep trouble. Quick! Come and save me." Psalm 69:15-17.  I poured out all anxiety in my soul in a deep cry to the Lord, just like David. I knew that except the Lord broke protocol for me, I would be disgraced openly.  At that point, I was only a few weeks from my delivery date, and I had no assurance I would make it. Not for lack of grace, but because of the psychological strain from conspiracy and threats meted out against me by some senior officers at the bank.  They took advantage of my situation — a breach of bank policy — to feed their wounded pride and selfish interests. I had taken an “inflexible” stand against worshiping their ego on my duty post. I was awaiting confirmation as a newly ap...

Grounded in Love.

Am I dreaming?" Zera retorted, while being served high-class cuisine by a round-faced, statuesque hostess in the exquisite first-class cabin of a brand-new Boeing 747. She was the only passenger onboard, receiving pristine care. Suddenly, her inner conversation was drowned out by the baritone voice of the pilot: "Alas, we are still carrying out some checks... we will have to wait until this is over." Checks? This is taking too long! When will I be cleared for takeoff?" Then she heard a voice, like the sound of many waters, whisper to her, "I am disengaging you from your enemies... you are the cause of the delay; in fact, your mouth has been the cause of the delay." Zera woke up with mixed emotions. "So, it was a dream," she wondered. However, she sensed within herself that it was a divine light to her inner conversations with God earlier in the week. She called me early that morning to share her encounter with me. Unknown to me, her story would b...
