Ore mi ni ( He is my Friend).

I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock And established my steps. He has put a  new song in my mouth - Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord. Psalm 40; 1-3 . I went searching for real satisfaction, tried many things but none could fill me until I realized that emptiness is life without God's love. This is indeed my story, this is my song!  Like a joyful newly delivered mother, I give God all the glory for the formal launching of a new purpose the Lord assigned to me, even so, I'm blessed to have the loving support of my wonderful husband πŸ₯°.  This new divine assignment is the Olive Global Ministries (OGM), a faith based Christian non profit organisation based in Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria. Our mission is to connect with people throughout the world in order to share the love of God, propagate the gospel by comp...

Oh! I miss her.

Oh God! My neighbor's precious nanny-goat died of complications during labor yesterday! I can't fully explain my feelings right now...just tepid☹️. You might ask, what's my business with my neighbor's goat? Well, I miss her early morning rhythmic bleats( she calls out to her owner for food that way), I can't forget her positive peaceful eye contacts. She throws gazes at me from her stall anytime I'm at the balcony watering my plants and I usually respond with a smile admiring her pretty brown spots while she was feeding. The feeling was mutual I guess😊. She played a major character in some of the animated training sessions facilitated by the Holy Spirit. I narrated this in my previous post titled; I'm too grateful to be silent!. I thank God I did.😘 Just wondering...how did they dispose of the body? (Certainly not in a pot of pepper soup or ogbono soup.. πŸ€”). I am so grateful to God who made our paths cross and graced me with the sensitivity to observe and ...

Shall He who brings to birth not cause delivery?

" A woman's breakthrough in labour often comes when the pain is at the most excruciating. When she can no longer push." (Excerpt from the sermon: When a Matter is Beyond you by Pastor Dapo Adeniyi on YouTube). While mulling over these animated words of faith, I recall my second son's delivery episode. On my due date, after experiencing  the bloody show early that morning, I started having contractions afterwards but I couldn't stay at the first hospital where I registered due to their sloppy medical procedure and this compelled my mother in law to hurriedly travel from Sagamu to the hospital in Lagos. Early the next day, I was transferred to another hospital. The new doctor confidently broke the water bag and kept me under observation awaiting regular contractions. Unlike my first son's delivery, this time I couldn't try reading because I didn't pack books into the bag. Hmm... learned a hard lesson from the first, I found my books scattered under the ...

Too grateful to be Silent!

" Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness"...Psalm 37: 3 This scripture came alive in me after having an edifying conversation with Mummy J (one of my mother's in the faith). I was enraptured by her testimony. She unknowingly stepped on a snake while taking a walk along a grassy path within her community. She didn't even know until a passerby screamed " You're stepping on a snake!..". The (God sent) crier fortunately had a cutlass and tried to reach for the snake but it escaped..a dark, medium sized snake..she summoned courage to carefully check herself...no bite! Mummy-J said she was in awe of God's miraculous protection. She's hale and hearty to the glory of God. I am too grateful to be silent.  God's allegiance to His cause on earth is undeniably visible. You will be wise to give your life to Christ and live for His purpose. We can extrapolate the graceful fluidity of those who trust in God and thei...

Happy Trust πŸ˜„

"What were you doing near that fence at this time???... tell me!!! The voice pierced through the darkness loud enough to wake my husband and I. Inquisitively, we looked through the window and watched in full view a thief caught by a policeman right in front of our fence at 12:45am...hmm..from their loud conversation, we understood that the police officer sneaked up on the stranger and upon interrogation, suspicious items were found on him . " Wow ..this policeman has a keen intelligence..." I commented as we watched the policeman beckoned to his colleague, handcuffed the thief and was driven away. Hmm... gratefully resumed my sleep with my eyes closed ..yaaah!😁😁😁 Waking up at sunrise, I poured out my gratitude to the merciful God who never sleeps nor slumbers, singing with gusto a chorus I sensed within my spirit  "Hallelujah He arose the Son of God arose, even so I will arise o yes ..o yes .." Unbeknownst to me, this was a forerunner of the main course the...

Credit Alert of New Mercies!!!

Image
It's 12:41am😘 ( Current local time in Nigeria).  A fresh Sunday morning at home. For those in this time zone, I trust you know your life has just been credited with new mercies (Kindly wait for your turn if you are not within this time zone😊 ). Even if you don't feel good right now, please respectfully acknowledge the receipt of this great gift and appreciate the God whose mercies endure forever. Remember, He credited you without your asking anyways. Much more, realise that your need alert came too late because God's mercy alert came much earlier.  "Therefore do not worry, saying, ' What shall we eat?' or ' What shall we drink?' or ' What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you..".  Mathew 6: 31- 33.  One of the reasons we worry and are unable to enter God...

See STORMS as 'SMROTS'

Oh God! It's sweltering! In the house at 3.15pm, it appears the wind had been trapped somewhere in the horizon. In my desperation for comfort I laid on the floor in the living room, picked an inspirational magazine to read... wondering if the weather will ever change...then the thought of praying for a mighty rain sneaked into my mind...that was all I could remember as I opened my eyes at 5:45pm. I was woken by the loud crash of the pretty flower vase that sat boldly in front of an amazing artwork - "The Cross" which was placed on a cute stand at a quiet corner within the living room. What is happening? I muttered and hurriedly stood up to shockingly realize that the room was darkened. Wow! Looking through a window, I saw the dark clouds massed on the horizon, pregnant with water...the mighty rushing wind(stormy indeed) that accompanied this darkness was howling. Joyfully, I watched the rain bucketing down,  refreshing my mood, however, painfully I had to stoop down to g...
